Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage is defined as the mobilization of soft tissue (such as muscle, fascia and body fluids) to restore normal systemic and biomechanics/functional use. It can be used to assist in the treatment of most musculo-skeletal and associated problems such as Tendonitis, Tennis Elbow, Golfer Elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and Sciatica.  So it results in reduction of muscle tightness, reduced pain, improved circulatory, lymphatic and neurological functioning.

It is applied with hands, fingers, elbows, forearms or a device. There are different massage techniques : Effleurage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Trigger Point Release, Active Release, Friction, Tapotement, Joint Mobilization, Stretch. Our massage therapist will perform necessary orthopaedic tests to determine the cause of pain or numbness, then decide which massage techniques are suitable to help the patients.
